Hi there, my name is Andrea. What has led me to start Love in Motion Co. is a bit of an interesting story, but let's start right from the top. I spent a lot of my childhood either in a dance studio learning how to move, or on a soccer field kicking goals. However, my passion for sport was overtaken by my passion for dance following a pivotal moment in my life: being granted a scholarship to the Victorian Collage Of The Arts Secondary School to study dance.

After graduating, I landed a role in Wicked the musical which took me all around Australia and Asia. The end of this tour saw the beginning of my stint in Grease the Musical where I played the role of Cha Cha. Then came Lion King the Musical, and finally Aladdin the Musical where I ended my musical theatre career on a high following a successful three year tour. Even whilst touring, I stayed busy. I had roles in film and television, and also did some modelling campaigns.

Despite my successful career on stage, I knew that I wanted something more: I wanted to give back. So I threw myself into teaching adults and children at any chance I got. I have been teaching all styles of dance all over Australia for the past 12 years, and I have found an undeniable passion for it.

 

I am a dance choreographer now, but I have always been a real sucker for love. It gives me so much joy witnessing the transformation my beautiful couples undergo in rehearsal, and then seeing them shine and feel confident on their special day.
